Norwalk – Patrick H. Hoover, 59, of Norwalk died of complications of a stroke Saturday at Hospice Kavanaugh House in Des Moines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Cremation will follow services.
Mr. Hoover was born in Des Moines and had lived in the area all of his life. He was a retired farmer, had worked for Dairy Farmers of America and was a member of National Dairy Shrine. He was an Army Reserves veteran and a member of American Legion.
He is survived by his mother, Winifred Hoover of Indianola; two brothers, Jerry of Norwalk and Joe of New Virginia; and three sisters, Jeanette Warren of Clive, Rosemary Hoover of Indianola and Diane Hoover of Norwalk.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Norwalk Fire and Rescue or Hospice of Central Iowa.
