Indianola, Iowa – Ross Hoover, 16-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Hoover near Spring Hill, died Tuesday in the hospital at Iowa City from burns suffered Oct. 18 from sulphuric acid.
He was taken to University hospital from Blank Memorial hospital in Des Moines last Friday.
The jug of acid was among the things left on the porch by a milk tester and the baby had tried to drink from the gallon jar. The acid burned his face and body as he was sitting down.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Catholic church at Cumming. Burial will be in Webb cemetery.
