Elbert L. Paris, 64, of Dana, Ill., formerly of Leitchfield died Tuesday, August 24 (1982) at the St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Ill. / He was born June 5, 1918 in Minonk the son of Theodore and Ama Hackett Paris. He was married to Vurble Probus Dec. 23, 1939 in Leitchfield. / Survivors include his wife, four sons, Kaywin of Dana, Ill.; Carman and Kermitt both of Joliett, Ill. and Kerwin of Souix City, Iowa; four daughters, Jean Cooke, Norman, Ill.; Hazle Bianchi, Grandville, Ill.; Betty Rainey of Dana, Ill. and Beverly Spencer of Streets, Ill.; five sisters Avy Fulkerson, Upton, Ky.; Lorene Lang, Musitee, Iowa; Thelma Humston, Brandenburg, Ky.; Margie Smithers, Leitchfield and Esta Cashmore, Cornelle, Ill.; two brothers Floyd of Louisville and Raymond of Leitchfield. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren. / Funeral services were held August 27 at the Folkers-Frolich Memorial Funeral Home in Minonk, Ill. Burial was in the Dana Cemetery.
