Lorene Lange was reunited with her loving husband, Richard, in Heaven on Sunday, May 25, 2008. He has been patiently waiting for her since May 6, 1996.

Visitation for Lorene will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 10:30 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Officiating will be Don Cook and Richard Paris.

Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or the American Cancer Society in memory of Lorene

Lorene (Paris) Lange, 83, of Muscatine was born on October 30, 1924, in Vine Grove, Kentucky, to Theodore and Anna (Hackett) Paris. On February 16, 1944, Richard F. Dick Lange and Lorene were united in marriage in Manhattan, Kansas. While Dick was serving in WWII with the United States Army, Lorene joined her in-laws (Fred & Mabel Lange) in Muscatine. Lorene was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Dick and Lorene owned and operated Langes Safety Service from 1953 to 1985. As everyone knows, if you saw one, the other was close by!

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dick, one son Kenneth Butch Lange, one grandson Steven Duane Bean, three brothers Raymon, Elbert and Floyd Paris, and one sister Avy Fulkerson.
