Louise vera Bazzoon, 86, of Santa Fe, TX, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at the Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital in Houston. She was born in Liberty County on March 7, 1919 to parents, Clyde Johnson Havard and Vera Ann McCain and remained in the Tarkington Prairie area until moving to Santa Fe five years ago. She loved to sew and fish, was a member of the Dayton Art League, a Life member for over 50 years of the Cleveland Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star # 465 and a Dual Member of the LaMarque Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star # 979.
Visitation for Mrs Bazzoon will be held on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 5 pm until 9 pm at the Sterling White Chapel Funeral Home in Highlands.
She is survived by her children, Jim Vance Bazzoon and wife Berylyn of Santa Fe, TX, Helen Louise Gruver and husband Randall of Humble, brother Luther Clyde Havard of Tomball, half brother Sank Tucker Havard of Tarkington Prairie and grandchildren, Thomas James Bazzoon, Mark Allen Gruver and Michael Thomas Gruver.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 10 am at Mantague Cemetery in Cleveland with the Rev Tim Gruver officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.
