Pauline Huddleston
Pauline Esther Huddleston, sister of Nashville resident Betty Stevens, died Friday, September 27, at her daughter's home in Bloomington. A resident of that city, she was 67.
Born April 17, 1935, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Logan E. and Lillian (McCain) Stone, both preceding her in death.
She married Jerry Eugene Huddleston, also preceding her in death.
She had worked in child care, enjoying her children and others. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and mushroom hunting in the spring with her husband. She also enjoyed her constant companion, Chi-Chi, her dog.
She was a member of Gateway Tabernacle Church in Martinsville.
Other survivors include two sons, Buck Hillenburg and Joe Hillenburg, both of Bloomington; three daughters, Debbie Cummings, Teresa Inman and Raydean Chandler, all of Bloomington; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; four brothers, Thomas, Harvey, Michael and Larry "Bill" Stone, all of Bloomington; and sisters, Janet Huddleston of Ellettsville, Sharon Southern of Bloomington and Linda Grow of South Carolina.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Donald Stone; a daughter, Pamela Sue Hillenburg; and a son-in-law, Kenny Inman.
The Reverend Pat Davis officiated a service Tuesday, October 1, at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel.
Burial was in Greene County Chapel Cemetery.
