Janet Catherine Huddleston
FEBRUARY 24, 1941 – JULY 5, 2022

Janet Catherine Huddleston passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. Janet was born in Bloomington, IN on February 24th, 1941 to Logan and Lillian Stone.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Richard Huddleston; daughters, Patty Allen and Lana (Kirby Apathy) Allen; a son, Roger (Tami) Allen; a brother, Bill (Cheri Stone); a sister, Linda Grow; grandchildren, Brad Allen, Daiquiri (Melissa) Davis, Patti (Scott) Fiscus, Chad Allen, Jason Allen, Steve (Ashley) Davidson and Kassi Owens; and great grandchildren Mason Fiscus, Brady Perry, Ryan Kissel, Adeline Davidson, Savannah Davidson, Preslee Davidson, Ryder Davidson, Reid Owens, and Parker Owens; and many nieces and nephews.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Logan and Lillian Stone; brothers, Thomas Stone, Harvey Stone, Mike Stone, and Duke Stone; sisters, Betty Stevens, Pat Huddleston, and Sharon Southern; and grandkids, Coty Davidson and Heather Dawn McCoy.

Janet was a wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She valued family above all else and was dedicated to ensuring her family was happy and healthy. Janet was a loving and joyous person along with being a devout Pentecostal woman. Her hobbies included visiting French Lick, buying scratch-off tickets, and fishing. She was an excellent cook as well, with her family fondly remembering many of her dishes. She had many good, lifelong friends who will miss her deeply.

A visitation will be held at Deremiah Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrel Chapel (700 W Gourley Pike, Bloominton, IN 47404) on Friday, July, 8th from 3pm to 7pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9th at 12pm. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
