Thomas and his wife, Catherine , were weavers while living in England . After they arrived in Utah, he farmed and they still did weaving. They raised flax and other crops. They processed the flax and made it into cloth for their own use and to sell. Thomas was very religious and was much involved in the church. He was a branch president in England and served in many callings in Heber . He filled two short term missions to Summit and Morgan Counties in Utah to encourage the people to live the Word of Wisdom.
