HUNTINGDON - Services for Thurman Alexander, 66, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements. Mr. Alexander died Sunday at Carroll County General Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Alexander; two sons, Billy R. Alexander of Louisville, Ky., and Nick Alexander of Sioux City, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd Snyder of Blytheville, Arkansas; two stepsons, Eugene Parker of Phoenix, Arizona and Roger Parker of Yuma; two sisters, Mrs. Novell Taylor of Huntingdon and Frances Evans of Memphis; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. ~~~ THE JACKSON SUN, Jackson, TN, May 21, 1979, page 17
