Liddie Pearl McCormick Hensley was born Thursday, March 3, 1887 in Mississippi, to William Anderson McCormick and Eliza Ellen Harlow McCormick.

She married John Pruitt Hensley, a son of Samuel Elijah "Sam" Hensley and Mary Sue Livingston Hensley.

Mrs. Liddie Hensley Dies Unexpectedly

Mrs. Liddie Hensley of 1124½ 4th Ave. SE died unexpectedly at her home about 10 o'clock this morning. The attending physician said that she apparently died of a stroke.

She was taken to Decatur General Hospital in an unsuccessful attempt to revive her.

Funeral arrangements are to be announced by Peck Funeral Home of Hartselle pending arrival of out-of-state relatives.

She is survived by three sons, Sam, Dewey, and Junior; three daughters, Mrs. Lula Ledlow, Mrs. Gertrude Jenkins, and Mrs. Eulus Hill, 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur McCormick, and one sister, Mrs. Lula Brown.
