Services for Claus P. Schneider, age 92 of Blair, who died at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha August 15, 1991 were Monday, August 19 at St. John's Lutheran church in Bennington, Nebraska. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery.

Claus P. Schneider was born on August 2, 1899 at rural Bennington, Nebraska to Claus and Christena Mohr Schneider. He attended the Wranch School.

On December 21, 1922 he married Margaret Paasch. She preceded him in death on June 8, 1967.

On October of 1968 he married Myrtle Dein. She survives.

He farmed in the Blair area until 1935 at which time he moved to Kennard, Nebraska and started a corn shelling and trucking business. He was baptized and confirmed in the St. John's Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret, one brother, Paul; three sisters Katherine Mueller, Margaret Ladwig and Lillie Wrick.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; son and daughter-in-law, Arlen and Venetia Schneider, Kennard, Nebraska, six stepchildren; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; 37 great step-grandchildren and one brother, Carl Schneider, Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
