Virgil A Tilson, 60, Hartline, passed away in Soap Lake hospital Monday. He was born in Hartline on Nov 25, 1913, and spent most of his life in the Hartline area farming.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and of the Hartline City Council.

Surviving is his wife, Rose, at the home; his mother, Mrs. Lula Tilson, Medical Lake; six sisters, Mrs. Viola Thomsen, Mansfield, Mrs. Elaine Webley, Coulee City, Mrs. Elsie Anderson, Portland, Oregon, Mrs. Mildred Price, Vancouver, WA, Mrs. Betty Jud, Opportunity, and Mrs. Ann Kinder, Loon Lake, WA, and many nieces and nephews.

Nicoles Funeral Home, Ephrata, is in charge of arrangements.
