PIONEER GLOBE RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Della McNelly, 66 year old pioneer Arizonian, died yesterday in the home of a daughter in Ventura, Calif., after an illness of several months, according to word received by relatives here and at Globe.
Mrs. McNelly was born in Globe and was a member of one of Arizona's pioneer families. She was the mother of Mrs. Francis Gilbert and the sister of Lee Middleton, both of Phoenix. Funeral services and burial will be in Globe.
Other survivors are three sons, Albert, Richard and Hallack McNelly, all California residents; two other daughters, Mrs. Catherine Rupp and Mrs. Miriam Evans, both of Ventura; another brother, Clifton of Globe; and a sister, Mrs. G. M. Allison, Globe.

Obituary states Della was born in Globe. She was born in California, per every US census taken in her lifetime. Also shows a daughter's name as Catherine, it is Kathleen. Albert should be Elbert.
She married Henry Hallack "Hal" McNelly on 19 June 1888 in Globe, Gila, Arizona. Their children; Miriam Evelyn McNelly (Oswill - Evans -Peterson), Richard Upton McNelly, Elbert Grove McNelly, Halleck "Hal" Henry McNelly, Maxine McNelly (Gilbert) and Kathleen McNelly (Rupp)

Mrs. Della M. McNelly was president of the Alexander Woman's Relief Corp #2 of Globe, Arizona in 1902. The Woman's Relief corp is the oldest woman's organization of Globe and the US.
