Calvin was the son of Hannibal Jefferson & Mary Prudence Barrett Bost.

Funeral services for William Calvin Bost, 64, a resident of Eaton Circle in Fort Oglethorpe, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, with Minister Bobby Jones officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Gardens. Pallbearers will be Milford Morton, Alwyn Ketner, Lynn Ketner, Charles Johnston, Willie Kinsey, Larry Cooper, Doyle, Mills and Lois Miller.

Mr. Bost died Tuesday morning in a local hospital

A native of McMinnville, Tenn., Mr. Bost had lived in the North Georgia for the past 40 years.

He was a member of Chattanooga Valley Church of Christ and belonged to Painters Local 246 and American Legion Post 148.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Rubye Kathryn Foster Bost of Fort Oglethorpe; three daughters, Cathryn Ann Brunetto of Daytona Beach, FL., Martha Leffew of Charlotte, NC., and Mary Ellen Barnette of Rossville; one son, Billy E. Bost of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Jeff V. Bost of Rossville and Joe Bost of Chattanooga five granddaughters, one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
