MRS. HARRY J. NOEL DIED OCTOBER 1st

Mrs. Harry J. Noel passed away Tuesday, October 1st at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Renard Ladd, where she has made her home for the past seven years.

Minerva Sands was born to Mr. and Mrs. Will Sands on September 23, 1881 at Macedonia, Iowa, and married to Harry J. Noel on August 5, 1901. They lived in Marshalltown, Iowa before moving to Kennard in 1931. Mr. Noel passed away on October 31, 1953.

She is survived by three sons, Paul of Decatur; William of Grinnel, Iowa; and Rolla of Kennard; and two daughters, Mrs. Renard Ladd (Beulah) of Blair and Mrs. Mae Lyons of California. Also 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Lutheran church in Kennard and active in the Church Ladies Aid before moving to Blair.

Funeral services will be at the Kennard Lutheran church, Friday, October 4th at 2 P.M. The Rev. Harold Laursen will officiate. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery with the Campbell Mortuary in charge.

Pallbearers will be Glen Rosenbaum, Art H. Jensen, Augie Matzen, Harlan Christensen and John H. Johnson.
