ANSWERS DEATH SUMMONS.
W. H. Sands Yields to Fatal illness Saturday Morning, November 3. W. H. Sands was born in Morgan county, Ohio, 68 y*ars ago last October 23rd. On arriving at manhood, like many others, he came west. In Mills county, Iowa, he met Miss Lucinda DeVore, whom he married September 26, 1880. After ftboil^five years they came to this county, locating near St. Edward. Later they went back to Iowa and stayed six years, (and then came back to this county, remaining here ever since. Two children were born to them, Minerva (Noel) of Hart wick, Iowa, and Harvey, of this place. He had been in rather poor health for a yearjr but this season he grew worse. A month ago he went to Excelsior Springs, hoping to get relief, but was not benefited at all. Since coming home he has failed steadily un til death claimed him Saturday morning, just a little after midnight. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, daughter and son, besides a large circle of friends. Mr. Sands spent the best part of his life in the service of his Master. For twenty-five years the writer has been acquainted with him and had fellowship with, him in the Church of Christ a considerable share of that time. His faith in his Savior never weakened even to the very last Funeral services were held from the Christians' chapel Sunday, afternoon, conducted by D. J. Poynter and H. A. Houtz, and the body laid to rest in Rose Hill. ALBION NEWS
