Morgan dies in Vancouver

Frank Morgan passed away, Nov. 17 at Shaughnessy Hospital, Vancouver, B.C., after a lengthy illness. He was 79 years of age. Mr. Morgan was born in 1891 at Huntsville, Utah. He came to Canada in 1910 where he homesteaded Clear Prairie in 1920. He was also a trapper and had a fur post on Chinchaga in 1933.
He moved from Clear Prairie and made his home with his brother, John, in Hines Creek until he married Mrs. Edith Miller in the early 1940's. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan lived in Hines Creek a number of years and was active in the B.P.O.E. They retired to Penticton, B.C.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Edith, of California, three stepsons and two step-daughters, one sister, Mrs. Milo Knauss of Peace River. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joe, John, and Harry, and two sisters. Funeral services were held in Vancouver, Nov. 21.
