After the death of Andrew Sr in 1852, his widow married Robert Brown with whom she had six more children.
Andrew Jr, a coachman, first married at 23 to Agnes Young. They raised 13 children before she died at age 41.
Seven years later, in 1903, he married Jeannie Ross and they had three more children in Glasgow. In 1926 they immigrated to British Columbia with the two youngest to join a married daughter of Andrew's, later followed by Jeannie's daughter and her husband.
The family sailed to Canada aboard the "Aurania," sponsored under the Empire Settlement Act of 1922.
