Memorial services for David E. Adcock, CWO RET AUS, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 7th at First Baptist Church of Wylie. Rev. Al Draper will officiate and members of the Army Honor Guard will provide military recognition and flag presentation. Mr. Adcock, 82, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the V. A. Community Living Center in Bonham, Tx.

David Eugene was born February 14, 1936 in Durant, Oklahoma to the late Orion (Arnie) and Lola (Richardson) Adcock. **living omitted**

Mr. Adcock was highly decorated for his 20 plus years of exemplary military service to his beloved country, having served in the Air Force and then retiring from the Army. He served in the Korean Conflict and later two tours of duty in Vietnam as a Chinook helicopter pilot and was awarded the prestigious Bronze Star for his distinguished service.

Mr. Adcock was a proud American and continued after retirement to serve in a civilian capacity with active membership in MMOA, Vietnam Veterans of America, as an ambassador for Freedom Team Salute and numerous other military organizations.

Dave is survived by **living omitted** He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, O.T., James, Charles, Kenneth and one sister, Virginia.
