Mrs. Rauton passed away December 4, 2023. Born in Climax, GA she was a daughter of the late William and Jeannie Musgrove Eakin. She retired from Comporium and was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her children, Jean Rauton, Suzanne Redd (Bill), Billy Rauton (Lynne); grandchildren, Will Redd (Tori Clarke), Jordan Redd Davis (Andrew), Jesse Rauton (Rhiannon), River Rauton; siblings, Elaine Sanders (Edwin), John Eakin (Ruth); sisters-in-law Mary Alice Strickland, Anne Rauton and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Rauton was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Ray Rauton; siblings, Ronald Eakin, Evelyn Atkinson, Hanes Eakin, Lil Wagner and GM Eakin.
The family would like to thank the staff of Summit Place of Anderson, SC and Crescent hospice care of Anderson.
