ANDREW LINDSTROM
Funeral services for Andrew Lindstrom, 76, who died Saturday at home after a long illness, will be a 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bethel Lutheran Church, Miller, the Rev. Alex Falk officiating. Born in Sweden, son of Nils and Hanna Akesson. (Born Anders Nilsson, he changed his name to Lindstrom while in Swedish Army and became Andrew in America). Retired carpenter. Gary (Miller) resident 42 years. Member of Bethel Lutheran Church, and a deacon, Sunday School superintendent and teacher for 20 years. Survived by his widow, Ruth (Nicholson); sons Norman, Sidney, and Sigurd, all of Gary, and Roy of Garyton; daughters Edythe Fleming, Garyton, and Ruth McCormack, Crisman; and 18 grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons Lennert and Paul and daughters Edna and Viola Hess. Friends may call at Williams and Burns Funeral Home until 11:30 a.m. tomorrow. Burial in Miller Cemetery.
