James D. Barr, Esq., one of the oldest residents of Turbotville, died suddenly Thursday night. He retired to bed about 9 o'clock and sometimes after taken with a violent fit of coughing. He arose and went downstairs when a physician was summoned. He again retired to his room and soon expired. For a number of years he held a position as Justice of Peace.
