DELL (news item)

The many friends of Mrs. Kate Forbes, (nee Campbell), were grieved to hear of her death, which took place in Boston, Mass., on July 23rd, at the age of 49 years. Mrs. Forbes made her home in Boston and had been a sufferer for some time, but her death was unexpected. Her remains were brought to her sister's place, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. John A. McLeod, of St. Johnsbury, Vt., who was called to Boston by her death.

The funeral was largely attended d was held on July 23rd. The Rev. M. McLeod conducted the service after which the long cortege proceeded to the Dell cemetery, where her remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband, who predeceased her nine years ago.

The floral tributes, beautiful and numerous, showed the high esteem in which she was held by her many friends during her lifetime.

She leaves to mourn her loss, one sister. and two brothers, who are Mrs. Dorothy G. Morrison, Mr. Kenneth B. Campbell, and Mr. Donald M. Campbell, besides a great number of relatives and friends.

The pall bearers consisted of her six nephews, namely, Donald M., Ebbie and John O. Morrison and Dannie A., John and Kenneth D. Campbell.

Among those from a distance who were called were: Mr. and Mrs. McLeod, of St. Johnsbury, Vt. and Mrs. D.E. Mosher, of Detroit, Mich.
