Mrs. Polly L. Clevenger, 67, rural Lawson, died Oct 25, 1979 at Excelsior Springs City Hospital. She was born October 11, 1912 near Richmond, a daughter of John and Laura L. (Webster) Wright.
She had live in Lawson since 1928. She was married to Garnett Lee Clevenger on Nov. 3, 1940. He survives at home.
Mrs. Clevenger was a member of the Vibbard Christian Union Church.
She was a member of the Lawson Eastern Star #549.
Other survivors include a daughter, Miss Shirley Lee Clevenger of the home; one brother, Marvin Wright of Richmond, MO; five sisters, Frances Maidment of Richmond, MO; Belle Armstrong of Richmond, MO; Alive Jane O'Dell of Orrick, MO; Mary Lovins of Marshall, MO; and Mayme Miller of Kansas City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.
Friends may call today at Jarman Chapel, Lawson. Services will be Sunday at the Vibbard Christian Union Church with Rev. Wilbur Holman officiating, burial in Richmond Memory Gardens.
