Shirley Faye Estes Shive, age 76, of Hodgenville, passed away, Monday, November 1, 2023, at her residence. She made a profession of faith at an early age and attended Steadfast Baptist Church, retired from Central Kentucky Chemical where she worked with her brother-in-law, for over 20 years, she loved gardening and cooking. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Larry J. Shive; her son, DeWayne Shive; her parents, Lee and Beulah Walker Estes and a sister, Bonnie Beauchamp. She is survived by two daughters, two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Saturday, November 4, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville . Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
