Lee W. Estes, age 82 years, of Buffalo, died Tues., Apr. 9, 2002, at his residence. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Kentucky Highway department, an Army veteran of WWII, a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church near Buffalo and the American Legion Post #87 in Hodgenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Mary Durrett estes, four sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four
step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Fri., Apr. 12 at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Rev. Carlos Compton and Rev. Otis Skaggs officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.
