Born in Anderson County, SC on August 10, 1946, Jacquelyn was the daughter of the late Eugene M. Spearman and Ruth Herron Spearman. She grew up in Easley, SC and taught chemistry and worked as a chemist before retirement. Jacquelyn was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who enjoyed crafting, working with stained glass, cooking, and spending time with those she loved. She loved Jesus and was a long-time member of Oak Hill Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her kindness and desire to be helpful to others.
Surviving relatives are a son, Dodd Morgan (Vickie); and a daughter, Kim Rowe (Jerry); brothers, Craig Spearman (Cathy) and Richard Spearman; a sister, Eugenia Hunter; two grandchildren, Jessica Geter (Marvin) and Jake Morgan (TeAnna); and three great-grandchildren, Kimora, Cam, and EJ. She was also survived by a sister-in-law and best friend, Becky Turner (Ron).
Jacque is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Glenn Dennis Morgan; and her sister, Barbara Haynes.
A memorial service will be planned at a future date at Oak Hill Methodist Church. Those who wish to remember Jacquelyn in a special way may make donations in her memory to Oak Hill Methodist Church, 430 Oak Hill Road, Belton, SC 29627.
