John Tucker, 84, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. He was a native of Etowah, TN.

John would want this to be a "No Tear Zone." He would rather everyone throw a party to celebrate the life he lived not the day he passed even though it's hard to do. John's right "he lived." He never met a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He could get a horse to do anything that another person could not. He enjoyed riding his horse in the mountains or working on an old tractor. John was a hard person to figure out and few people really knew John. He had a deep sense of humor and enjoyed telling a good joke. He was one that if you did not like him for who he was, he really didn't care that is who John Tucker was. John was a remarkable and unforgettable man who will be missed.

John would want everyone to celebrate the time he lived because he lived a full life and not mourn. Do not dwell on what-ifs or what could have. We will miss his laughter, jokes, and sense of humor the most.

"Forever Free"
As we say farewell, please no sorrow
For time on this earth, we only borrow.
Lucky was I, my heart has a home,
And with you by my side, I felt not alone.
You filled my life with happiness one light,
My soul shall remain eternally bright.
Love cannot end, it cannot disappear,
I will always be with you; I will always be near.
And now that my journey has come to its end,
Please note and take comfort in this my friend.
For me, for my life, please do not grieve,
For now, I remain forever free.
