Falmar Tucker Buckner, 83, of Englewood, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Etowah Health Care Center.

A native of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Mindy Tucker, and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Buckner; two brothers, Walter "Bud" Tucker and Curtis Tucker; and one sister, Caroline Buckner.

Survivors include five sisters and one brother-in-law, Francis White of Georgia, Ozella Tucker of Chattanooga, and Marie Crye, Rhea and Dewayne Armstrong and Ellie Ruth Tucker, all of Etowah; and nine brothers and six sisters-in-law, John and Jennifer Tucker and Dale and Debbie Tucker, all of Georgia, Roe and Kitty Tucker, Lonnie Tucker and Ronnie and Marsha Tucker, all of Englewood, Claude "Cotton" and Janet Tucker of Etowah, Bill and Sherlene Tucker of Ooltewah, Wayne Buckner of Cleveland, and Lane Buckner of Germany.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hatcher officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday, and will proceed to Mars Hill Cemetery for the 11 a.m. burial.

Pallbearers will be Roe Tucker, Bill Tucker, Dale Tucker, Donnie, Matthew and Tim Harris.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
