Tridell, Uintah County--Duane Leo McKee, 53, died April 11, 1978, near Fort Duchesne of a heart attack. Born April 16, 1924, Vernal, to Joseph Ray and Viola Ruth McConkie McKee. Married Vida Bothorp Nov. 16 1945, in the Salt Lake Temple. Dairy Farmer and rancher. Graduate Alterra High School. Active Member LDS Church. Served as superintendent of MIA and Sunday School. Five years as a first counselor in bishopric and 6 years as a bishop of Tridell Ward. Was presently serving as high priest group leader in Tridell Ward. Served with U.S. Army paratroopers WWII in South Pacific. Lifetime resident Tridell.

Funeral Friday 11 a.m. in the Tridell Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary, Roosevelt, Thursday 7-9 p.m., and the chapel Friday 1 hour prior to services. Burial in the Tridell Cemetery.
