Her husband, James F. Avritt, died 28 years ago. Mrs. Avritt was a consistent Christian woman, having been a member of the Christian Church over 60 years. The funeral services were held at the residence Friday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. H.E. Jarboe. The burial was in Old Liberty Cemetery.
Five children, 2 sons and 3 daughters survive. They are: J.F. Avritt, William Avritt of Greenwood, IN, Mrs. C.C. Peyton, Mrs. R.L. Weatherford, Miss Nannie Avritt, all of this county. One sister, Mrs. Cinda Robinson, and 2 brothers, Jack and George Gray, of Illinois, survive.
