METTER, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Evelyn "Miss Sugie" Donaldson Ward, 93, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. Survivors are two sons, J.L. (Martha) Ward, Jr. and James Edward (Gail) Ward both of Metter, four daughters, Sarah (Robert) Mills of Trenton, SC, Isabel (Carl) Sego, Mary Ellen Gay and Pam Ward all of Metter.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3:00 PM, at the New Beulah Methodist Church with burial in the Antioch Cemetery.
The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 6-8 PM at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Hooks Chapel. Remembrances may be made to New Beulah Methodist Church, c/o Dot Oglesby, POB 966, Metter, GA 30439.
