METTER - James Donaldson, 73, died Oct. 16 at the VA Medical Center in Augusta.
He was a native of Candler County and a retired heavy-equipment operator. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Twin City and an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Billie Donaldson of Twin City; a sister, Evelyn Ward of Metter; a brother Matthew Donaldson of Twin City; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. today at Wood Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Friday at Twin City First Baptist Church, burial in Rosemary Cemetery in Metter.
