Sarah Ann Greenwell, age 81, of Lebanon passed away peacefully on Friday, September 07, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 24, 1941 in Lebanon, Kentucky to the late Joe Leake and Sally Mattingly Leake. Mrs. Greenwell was a 1959 graduate of St. Augustine and served as a substitute teacher there for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leroy Leake, Ray Leake, Bill Leake, David Leake Chris). Survivors include her loving husband of 60 years, four children, brother, two sisters, three sisters-in-law, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Bosley Funeral Home with a prayer service that will be held at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Nelson County, 711 McDowell Blvd., Bardstown, KY 40004.
