David R. Leake, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Shelbyville, KY. He attended the Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville. He was a member of the Kentucky Trailblazers and loved farming and tractors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe & Sallie Leake Sr.; his wife, Mary “Chris” Leake; his brothers, Ray & Leroy Leake. He is survived by his son, David “Allen” Leake (Lisa) of Mt. Eden; his daughter, Traci Cross (Kyle) of Eminence; his son, Dennis Leake (Tricia) of Lyndon; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Joe Leake of Lebanon, Bill Leake of Bardstown; his sisters, Sarah Greenwell, Aline Leake, Theresa Ballinger all of Lebanon; and close friends, Billy & Martha Smith of Shelbyville. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Church of the Annunciation in Shelbyville, KY, with Father Mike Tobin officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday and from 9-11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Shannon Funeral Home, in Shelbyville, KY.
