Miss Armstrong was born November 15, 1948, in Lepanto, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Elmer Wally Armstrong and Opal Armstrong. She lived in Florida most of her life until moving to Forrest City four years ago. She was an employee of Walmart and was a Baptist.
Miss Armstrong is survived a sister-in-law, Judy Armstrong of Forrest City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Edward Gene Armstrong, Gary Allen Armstrong, and Samuel L. 'Sam' Armstrong, and one sister, Maxie Greenhaw.
