Barbara Hohensee, 83, of Fayetteville, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2023 in Tomball, Texas.

She was born on April 28, 1940 to Ernest Joseph Fruge and Agnes (Bertrand) Fruge in Lake Charles, Louisiana. On February 23, 1957 she married Vernon "Chick" Hohensee.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fayetteville, a member of the Fayetteville Catholic Daughters as well as a member of the Columbus Garden Club. She and Chick were active members of the Swiss Alps Dance Club.

Barbara loved to cook, sew, travel and dance. She took special delight in organizing large family gatherings during the holidays including great food, fun conversation, and always games. These events brought together four generations of family members from across the state.
