Grant A. Back , 73, of Baldwinsville died Monday in Liverpool.
Mr. Back was born in Lacona and lived 35 years in the Liverpool and Baldwinsville areas.
He retired from General Electric Co. in 1985 after 28 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Liverpool Elks Lodge 2348. He also served as chaplain of the lodge.
He also was a member of Liverpool Lodge 501, F&AM, and the Lacona Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Carol H.; three sons, Gil D. Devendorf of Cicero, Ross R. Devendorf of Minoa and Roger M. Lavin of Cicero; two daughters, Julia L. Bliven of Baldwinsville and Bonnie L. Pelkey of Liverpool; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday in Liverpool First United Methodist Church, the Rev. James LeGro officiating. Burial is in Collamer Cemetery.
Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool.
