Actor, Writer and Director. Born Franklyn LeRoy Wiltse III, Frank began his acting career while employed by Holland America Cruise Line as a Cruise Director. He moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1987 to pursue a career on stage and screen. He worked in Los Angeles and Chicago. Frank appeared in dozens of T.V. shows, commercials, and theatrical performances in varying roles. He played the Opening Day pitcher in the movie Rookie Of The Year . His film credits include Thrill Ride, Holllow Bones, Tread, Starting Again, Public Opinion, Aftermath, You Bet Your Life, and The Joust. He won Best Actor in a Drama for his role of "Harold" in Pay Per View. The film also won Best Indie Picture at the New York Film Festival, Best of Fest at the Cinemaniacs Festival, and an Honorable Meniton Actor Award at the Tops Shorts Festival. Frank is credited as the director and writer of The Joust (1994). His television career includes shows such as APB, Chicago Fire, N.O.O.D.L.E.S (pilot), Antony and Cleopatra, Columbo, Santa Barbara, Oprah Winfrey (panelist), Bozo's Christmas, and Social Eyes . Frank was also active in Theatre. His performances included Good People, The Big Meal, Letters Home, Antony & Cleopatra, In The Position, Ideal, Glass Menagerie, Bride & The Beast, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Bleacher Bums. Frank was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Artists Equity. While acting, Frank also found a passion for golf and became a PGA Golf Professional. He also spent many years teaching at and managing several golf facilities. Frank passed away August 16, 2023 from pancreatic cancer.
