William Robert Duggan,age 72, died at his home near Gantt saturday night after a long illness. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Fairmount Cemetery, Red Level. Rev. Cook officiating, Turner Brothers in charge.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, W.C., of Birmingham, R.C., of Andalusia, and J.E. Duggan of Gantt; seven daughters, Mrs. D.C. Capps of Dozier, Ruth Duggan, Andalusia, Sybil Duggan, Dothan, Evelyn Duggan, Andalusia, and Eva Ray, Clara, and Alice, all of Dozier; one brother, J.L. Duggan, Texas, and two sisters, Mrs. T.J. Sherman and Mrs. A.L. Chevous, both of Georgia.
