MRS. MITTIE DAVIS BURNETT, age 85, of Maccienny died Sunday morning following an illness of several weeks.


She was a native of Baker county and a Member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist church near Sanderson.


Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mazie Drawdy, Macclenny and Mrs. Aline Sommers, of Miami; four sons, Johnnie A. Burnett, Macclenny, Virgil Burnett, Ft. Myers, Charlie Burnett, Raiford, and Lucious Burnett, Miami; three sisters; Mrs. Ethel McConnell, Jacksonville, Mrs. Essie McNabb, Steinhatchee, and Mrs. Nettie Williams, Jacksonville; brothers Oren Davis, Gainesville, and Angus Davis, Starke; 19 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon 3 o'clock from the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church South of Sanderson in Baker county with Elder J. E. McCormick and Elder Everett Johns, offiiating.


Interment will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
