Private 20046, The King's (Liverpool Regiment). Enlisted on 7 September 1914, and arrived in France on 4 September 1915. Wounded November 1916 and later discharged on 5 June 1918. Son of John and Ellen Breden, and married to Annie Moreton in 1905, he was a journeyman stonemason and lived at 35 McLeod Street, Everton. Died age 36 from purulent bronchitis and an old gunshot wound in the chest.
