Mrs. Ashburn died Feb. 10, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 24, 1941, in Putnam County to the late Douglas and Pearl Dyer Bandy.
Mrs. Ashburn was a homemaker and a member of McBroom Chapel Church of Christ.
Her family includes her husband, Eugene Ashburn of Baxter; a son, Anthony (Tony) Ashburn of Baxter; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Clifford Hysell of Nashville; a brother and sister-in-law, Wallace (Bud) and Barbara Bandy of Algood; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Jimmy Hunter of Algood and Betty and Ben Nash of Baxter; three grandchildren, Amber Hysell Martin and Josh and April Hysell; and three great-grandchildren, Kennedy Martin, Destiny Hysell and Braydon Hessen.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ashburn was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Bandy.
