Jess Lawson
Morristown - Jess Lawson, 67, 311 Harmon Drive, Rogersville, died noon yesterday at Doctor's Hospital in Morristown of an apparent heart attack.
Born in Hancock County, he was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church and was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Hugh, Mack and Clen Lawson.
Surviving are his wife, Willie Ferrell Lawson; two half-sisters, Madge Berry, Asheville, N.C. and Dale Robertson, Indiana; tow half-brothers, Ollie Lawson, Rogersville, and Dock Stapleton, North Carolina.
Friends may call from 7-9 today at Colboch-Price Funeral Home and also at the home of Ollie Lawson, 1046 Locust St. Rogersville.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Hubert Burton officiating.
Burial will be in Highlands Cemetery.
