William Henry Jarrell, 83, a retired farmer of Route 2, Dexter, Missouri, who had been ill for a short time died yesterday, June 28, 1965 at the home of his brother, Lige Jarrell.

A life-long resident of Stoddard County, Jarrell was born July 7, 1881. On April 15, 1906 he married Miss Miranda Book, who survives.

Other survivors include two sons; Curtis Lee Jarrell of Kelso, Washington and Cecil William Jarrell of Dexter, Missouri; two brothers, David Louis Jarrell of Bloomfield and Lige Jarrell of Dexter; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons; Joseph Jarrell and Rueluff Jarrell.

The Rev. John F. Lewis of Dexter will conduct the funeral services which will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Rainey Chapel, burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery, Dexter, Missouri.
