Born on January 17, 1928 in Barberton, OH to the late Edward M. and Amelia (Youngblood) Seifert, she was a life resident of Doylestown. Janet was a full-time Mom. When the children were older, she worked as a part time seamstress for the Doylestown Cleaner. She also had several secretarial positions for companies in the Barberton and Kenmore areas. Janet was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Gilcrest Senior Center. She also was a member of the Doylestown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and had been secretary for the Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Regis; son, Johnny; sisters, Miriam A. Seifert, Evelyn (George) Petit, Ruth (Oliver) Oser, Helen (Elmer) Petit, Joan Wehling; brothers, Donald (Helen) Seifert, Ivan (Rita) Seifert, Fr. Raymond Seifert, Richard (Margaret) Seifert, Robert (Marilyn) Seifert; son-in-law, John Richards; brother-in-law, Richard Hoover. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Bonnie) Paridon of Rocky River, OH, Richard (Barbara) Paridon of Sagamore Hills, Donna (Robert) Tomayko of GA, JoAnn Richards, and Joyce White both of Doylestown; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters, Marita (Robert) Zupke of Akron, Carol Hoover of FL; brother-in-law, Richard Wehling of PA; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
