Isaac's son, Stephen Ruddell, became Tecumseh´s closest friend as they were the same age and raised together off the Little Miami River/Mad River Area's. Stephen Ruddell was forced to leave the Shawnee after the Battle of Greenville. His younger brother could not even speak english and ran off to the west. Stephen Ruddell was a minister in Kentucky and is buried in New Providence Cemetery, Ursa, in Adams County, Illinois.∼Founder of Ruddell's (Ruddle's) Station in Bourbon co KY. During the Revolution, he as captured by Shawnee under a British Commander in a joint British-Shawnee attack, his sons were adopted by the Shawnee. After the war, he returned to Bourbon co and established a grist mill on the Licking River, and donated the land for Stoner Mouth Church and Cemeteray where he and wife are buried.
