Nauman, Robert Franklin. Born April 11, 1839, in Page County, Virginia, a son of John Perry and Lucy Ann Petefish Nauman. Enlisted March 14, 1862, in Luray. AWOL 4/3/62 - 2/63. Captured at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on July 3, 1863. Sent to Ft. McHenry, Maryland, then to Fort Delaware, Delaware, where he died of a lung infection, as a Prisoner of War, on October 19, 1863.
