Mrs. Mary E. Meikle, Age 74 Dies at Home of Daughter

Mrs. Mary E. Meikle, age 74, a resident of Kansas for fifty-six years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Bruce, 1903 South Main, Tuesday afternoon. She has been ill nearly a year, and has lived with her daughter for four years.

Mrs. Meikle came to Conway Springs in 1866. Beside Mrs. Bruce, she is survived by five other daughters, Mrs. H. E. Moyer of Geuda Springs, Mrs. Lon Gardner of Riverdale, Mrs. O. C. Halsey and Mrs. W. V. Berger, both of Conway Springs, and Mrs. C. W. Dunkan of Hooker,Okla.: three sons, J. A. Meikle of Hunter, Okla., Alfred Meikle of Conway Springs, and Floyd Meikle of Joycow, Okla.: thirty-two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the residence, and again at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Conway Springs Baptist Church. Burial will be in Conway Springs Cemetery. The City Undertaking Company has charge.
