Cleo Dee Johnson, 88, of Arlington, a long-time employee of Lone Star Gas Co., died February 7, 1994 in an Arlington hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Johnson were held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington on Friday February 11, 1994, Burial was made in Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington with Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born May 16, 1905, Mr. Johnson was reared in the Petty and Honey Grove area. He attended school at Forest Hill and Petty and finishd his senior year in Honey Grove where he played football. He married Juanita Smith of Honey Grove. He was a Mason for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Arlington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Arminta Johnson; a son, Cleo Wayne Johnson, a brother, Hollie Johnson and a sister, Eva Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Juanita Johnson; a granddaughter, Deena Kay Kitter; a grandson, Larry Johnson; a brother, J. N. Johnson of Hillsboro; two sisters, Stella Taylor of Dodd City and Mary Leoma Cox of Dallas; three nephews, Bill Bell, Bill Reid and Dr. John Johnson, a brother-in-law, Clay Taylor and two sisters-in-law, Estes Meade Johnson of Hillsboro and Mildred Rieves of Honey Grove.
